Tuition versus Bail

I saw yesterday that most students’ tuition is around 150,000-160,000 won per month. That is still expensive I think, but not as much as I expected. The other teachers said that is very cheap for English hagwon tuition; that our school is really cheap. So I now understand why Adam’s mother said to let him do whatever he wants- it’s cheaper to send him to school than to pay for a babysitter, or bail. At least she knows he’s not on the streets getting into trouble, and there are 3 of us to watch him at the hagwon. Lucky us.
