When the students arrive at one of my schools, things quickly reach a fever pitch. They are crazy! They attack Kate and the other Korean teachers, bombarding them with a million screamed questions. There’s a very loud huddle for a few seconds, then they literally run away screaming (to each other in Korean).
It’s hilarious to watch.
They don’t do it to me because they have to think very carefully how to say anything to me in English. I get polite conversation. The others get craziness.
